If I Never See You Again ― Charles Bukowski | HappinessDhaba

Charles Bukowski

I often say that if writing is art then Bukowski is one of the best artists the world has seen.  I say so because I’m yet to find a better craftsman of sentences than Bukowski. The depth he was able to convey in 2 sentences is often far more than what you can get from reading an entire book.

Those of us who believe in love find it to be one of the toughest feelings to express in words. But Bukowski as always has come to the rescue of people like us.

Bukowski’s quote from his book Living on Luck explains true love in words that can be called the rawest form of love.

“If I never see you again
I will always carry you
inside
outside

on my fingertips
and at brain edges

and in centers
centers
of what I am of
what remains.”
