I am a strong believer of the adage, “Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder“. When I listen to people criticizing Punjabi songs saying that they are all about guns, cars, alcohol, and flaunting your wealth, all I think is that those who say so are the ones who either haven’t seen the other side of the industry or are simply cynical in nature.
Everything has its bright and dark side, that’s the law of nature. It’s completely up to us to waste our lives finding faults or focus on enjoying the brighter and the better part.
I can assure you that with the likes of Amrinder Gill, Gurdas Maan, Satinder Sartaj, Tarsem Jassar, Bir Singh, Gurshabad, and a few others, Punjabi Music Industry is in Safe Hands.
Here, I’m sharing a list of the 10 Best Punjabi Music Videos That Tell a Beautiful Story and are examplar to the progress the Punjabi Music Industry has made.
The common thing about these songs is that they all tell a story and so are no less than short movies in themselves.

For me, the best moment was when he whistles and says, “Aaja Yaar” and his true love,” the dog” runs towards him. Trust me, that scene will give you goosebumps.
#2: Soch by Hardy Sandhu
Ve Main Tainu Kinna Chahuni Aa
Eh Gall Teri Soch Ton Pareh
This is another crowd-puller from Hardy Sandhu. It carries a whole different level of emotions.
Trust me, the story it portrays doesn’t seem to be from the regional music industry. But then I realize. The Punjabi music industry has evolved at a very impressive rate and has come a very long way. It’s no longer confined to Punjab.

#3: Bulandiyan by Hardeep Grewal
Hatteyan si pichhe chhaal laun nu,
Main kade vi maidan ni si chhadeya
This song from Hardeep Grewal has a whole different level of energy. The way, the protagonist despite all the struggle and discouragement goes on to become the National Archery Champion is enough to inspire you to channelize your energy towards your goal.
The message through this song is loud & clear. If you are determined to achieve something, nothing can stop you, not even your imperfections.

When you are feeling depressed, just watch this music video. It can instantly make you feel better. We all take our lives for granted. This song makes us realize how beautiful and important our life is.
For me, this is not just a song, it’s a therapy. Tarsem Jassar has literally created magic in this song.

The best thing about this music video is its rawness. Any introvert who has a crush on someone will definitely be able to relate to this.
#6: Changey Din by Kambi
Changey din bas dinan di oh khed aa,
Main lai aaune baanh phad ke
This music video from Kambi is one of my favorite sources of motivation. It shows how the protagonist gets selected in the football team after initially being denied the place due to some unfortunate reasons.
The line, “Na Mai Haarne nu Duniya te Jameya” will undoubtedly give you goosebumps.
For me, the lesson from this is that if there is anyone who can improve your situation, it’s You.

#7: Time Table by Kulwinder Billa
Kadon kehre vele aapan kithey milna,
Time table chithi te hunde saare c
If you like retro love stories, then, this one is for you.
It’s one of the greatest vintage love stories created in this era. It shows how lovers interacted when there was no phone and no Facebook. You will definitely enjoy the song due to its rawness.
